Dr Siobhán Seward-Swann

Dr Siobhán Seward-Swann is a clinical psychologist and founder of All Brains Psychology. She has been working in psychology in the UK and Australia for over 15 years.
She completed her PhD in clinical psychology, focusing on how children with autism spectrum conditions learned therapeutic and educational skills from touch screen apps. Siobhán works with children, adolescents and adults with mental health difficulties and neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism and ADHD.
She has experience and knowledge with understanding the more unique female phenotype and presentation of autism and ADHD, and is skilled in assessments in such areas. Siobhán has experience in delivering presentations on neurodiversity in schools, lecturing on neurodevelopmental conditions and delivering group therapy and social skills groups in schools. Siobhán recently completed EMDR training in 2023.

In her spare time she enjoys stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, zumba, and walks on the beach.

Her clinical placements included:

The Alfred Hospital in the heart transplant and failure ward, and Inflammatory Bowel Diseases department helping patients with mental health issues and work around the brain - gut link;

The Victoria Clinic - DBT program, ACT and mindfulness group therapy programs;

Mecwacare Trescowthick Centre Residential home in Prahran - developed a reminiscence therapy program for older adults;

The Swinburne Psychology Clinic- worked with adolescents and young adults with mental health difficulties such as anxiety, depression, social difficulties and relationship issues.

Other clinical experience:
Siobhán worked at the Priory Group in the UK, helping people with mental health issues (depression & anxiety). She also worked with children, adolescents and young adults with autism spectrum disorder/ Asperger's in a residential school.

Kate is a friendly and compassionate registered psychologist with experience in providing therapy as well as cognitive, educational, and neurodevelopmental assessments (Autism and ADHD).
She focuses on building authentic and collaborative therapeutic relationships and creating a safe and judgement-free environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
She aims to help clients develop a greater understanding of themselves and feel empowered to overcome obstacles and make positive change.
Her treatment style utilises evidence-based techniques drawn predominantly from CBT and ACT for a variety of presentations including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, phobias, panic attacks, relationship difficulties, and stress.
Kate is neuroaffirming in her approach to assessments and aims to make the process as comfortable as possible.
Together with her clients, she explores their strengths and areas of difficulty in order to identify and customise strategies that can be used to support them in their daily lives.
She provides assessments for children, adolescents, and adults and is available for therapy with adolescents and adults.
In her spare time, Kate enjoys spending time with her friends and family, travelling, and walking along her local beach.

Stephanie Heinemann
MA (Art Therapy); GradDip (Psychology) Member of AAPI

Stephanie is a provisional psychologist with a Masters in Art Therapy. She has
studied psychology at Deakin University and completed her Masters at La Trobe.
Stephanie works with people of all ages with mental health difficulties, Autism,
ADHD, and comorbid conditions.
Following a diagnosis of ADHD in adulthood, Stephanie has developed a passion for the ADHD and/or Autistic communities and hopes to utilise her lived experience to encourage and support others through their individual journeys and towards self- acceptance. Stephanie welcomes neurodivergent individuals, family members, and loved ones into the therapy space.
Stephanie practices with a neurodiversity-affirming approach and strives to make her sessions accessible and comfortable. She welcomes fidgeting, stimming, and reduced or no eye contact and uses her art therapy training to aid talk therapy.

All Brains Psychology provides fidget and sensory toys in each room and the
environment and therapy can be tailored to suit your specific needs.
In her spare time, Stephanie can usually be found at home doing something creative (most recently crochet) or thinking about [procrastinating] doing something creative.
She also enjoys plants and can occasionally be found fixating on moss, snails, or
woodlice.

Carly Crawford

Carly understands the feelings of overwhelm, stress, loneliness, exhaustion and restlessness that all of us, as human beings, experience at times.
With a focus on growth and strengths, she supports people to navigate issues such as anxiety, stress, low mood, and trauma by exploring a broad range of factors including self-esteem, values, relationships, belonging, identity, social influences, transitions and physical health.
She seeks to create an environment where people are seen and heard without judgement, and recognises that for many of us, spending time in natural settings can help promote clarity, calm and connection.
Carly has experience working with neurodiversity, cultural diversity and sexual diversity, and draws on interventions such as CBT, ACT, internal family systems therapy and techniques related to EMDR. She works with adults, children and groups and has experience with a range of assessment tools and processes.
As a provisional psychologist registered with the Psychology Board of Australia, Carly's principal qualifications are a Master of Professional Psychology from La Trobe University and Deakin University's Graduate Diploma of Psychology (Pre-Practice). She has a career background in the field of communications and mental health advocacy.
Away from work, Carly enjoys spending time with her children, swimming in the ocean, listening to music and being in bare feet.
